Special Focus
PPL specializes in assisting leaders and organizations in developing constructive responses to organizational conflict. Conflict itself is not positive or negative; it is how we respond that makes it so. Conflict responded to constructively can enable an organization to be more creative and innovative. The key is to learn which type of conflict to resolve and which type to facilitate.
PPL’s team transformation process is designed for work teams, departments, boards, committees and other groups that wish to function at their highest potential. Often, clients choose to engage with PPL to build a new team, help a team navigate a challenging time and/or to prepare a team for a strategic plan implementation.
PPL partners with you to determine the best approach for your team's development. Most clients begin by choosing which of the Dimensions of Team Effectiveness they want to address.
Using the PPL Process for Leadership and Team Development, your team discovers its strengths regarding the chosen dimension and designs a plan for improvement. This facilitated process usually requires 1 to 2 days.
In addition, you may choose to add the following services to your process:
Team Coaching
You may choose to remain engaged with PPL over a period of time to deepen team learning and behavior changes. A coach from PPL will provide one-on-one leadership coaching for the team leader and will be present during real life work sessions with the team one day a month for a six-month period (either in-person or via video conferencing).
