Identify Topic of FOCUS
(e.g. individual leadership development outcomes, improving team responses to conflict,etc.)

Ask the POWER Questions
What are my strengths? What are my team's strengths? What is working as opposed to what is not working?  

Ask the PURPOSE Questions
How can I (we) build on my (our) strengths and past successes to envision a new future? What is the world calling me, and my team to be and do?  

Create POSSIBILITY Statements
Affirmative statements of the desired future

Design GOALS and ACTION Steps
How do I (we) implement my (our) desired future?  How can I (we) change and expand my (our) understanding of leadership, the team and the organization to support the new actions (cognitive development)?  What new knowledge, skills and behaviors do I (we) need to develop to support the new actions (competency development)?

Determine a STRATEGY for Ensuring On-Going PROGRESS
